DESIGN OPTIMISATION

Metalline help our customers to produce the optimum design for performance, manufacture and sustainability. From selection of the correct materials to maintaining during use, our technical team offer a full range of information and solutions. All this is backed up by comprehensive testing for both fire and structural performance. Metalline’s products are amongst the most tested on the market.

MATERIAL SELECTION

Metalline source sustainable materials from ISO 9001 and 14001 accredited suppliers and can supply full chain of custody documentation to identify the origin of the materials used and track their journey through their production cycle. We actively work with our suppliers to optimise the number of deliveries we receive and reduce the amount of waste produced. All suppliers hold active sustainability policies.

PRODUCTION

Metalline are actively working towards both ISO 9001 and 14001 whilst currently employing a comprehensive QA management system. Limiting the number of product rejects and reducing waste is key to our lean manufacturing philosophy.

We have invested in the latest, state-of-the-art machinery, ensuring both accurate and efficient manufacturing processes, reducing our production energy consumption and maintaining the highest quality products which is synonymous with Metalline.

INSTALLATION

Metalline work closely with specialist facade contractors to develop efficient delivery and installation programmes. We focus on reducing the number of deliveries to site and optimise the amount of packaging which is used to protect our products during transportation. Upon delivery, packaging is also collected, returned to our production facility and reused.

Our external sales force has switched to either full electric or hybrid electric vehicles, further reducing our environmental impact.

USE

The key to executing a successful building design is the selection of the correct materials. Aluminium’s durability, high strength-to-weight ratio, recyclability and formability give it many advantages compared to alternative materials. The wide range of aesthetic finishes available allows true design flexibility and specialist finishes such has stone, wood grain and patina copper provide a sustainable alternative to traditional materials.

MAINTENANCE

Aluminium requires low maintenance throughout its lifespan. With simple cleaning processes to ensure its longevity, the material can endure years of use. Aluminium is a durable, resilient material and facilitates long lasting facade systems with a minimal cost to maintain.

INFINITE RECYCLABILITY

Aluminium’s infinite recyclability means it plays a key role in sustainable building design, promoting a circular economy and reducing waste. Metalline can incorporate low-carbon and recycled aluminium into the production of our products helping to further reduce a project’s overall carbon footprint.
